Xira /ˈzɪərə/ — adj. of ancient origin. The quality of being effortlessly magnetic; to charm through lightness rather than force. A playfulness that is neither accidental nor innocent — deliberate, warm, and entirely disarming.
What started as a small, almost accidental opportunity to run a market stall turned into something I never could have planned. I was sitting in my room handmaking jewellery I thought was beautiful, with no real expectation that anyone else would feel the same — but the response blew me away. People kept coming back, word spread, and what began as one stall every other week grew into running 8+ markets a month.
It got busy enough that I had to bring some of my closest friends on board just so I could step away long enough to restock. That moment felt significant — Xira was no longer just a hobby, it was something real.
The market stalls are still at the heart of everything we do. That's where our community started, where I first connected with the people who wear our pieces, and where it continues to grow today. We're still the same small, passionate team — just with a lot more jewellery to show you.
